"Passing through the rivers, waters and fire" is a fact that most Christians living on the earth will have to experience with. God did not spare his Son from the pain of the cross, just because putting him there was a matter of his glory. Salvation is given by Love but, the saved ones will always become a source of Glory that will feed God. God receives Glory when a sinner like me worships his name, while the one who believed himself the biggest worshipper in heaven was precipitated for pride.
Lucifer was made Satan due to pride and rebellion. God replaced him by ourselves. This is why He plays a role like wanting to replace God in our lives and trying to replace us by demons while trying to make us act like demons in the sight of God. He is in the business of replacement because he was replaced. He hate our success. When you see someone getting mad about your success, you know who is there.
When we pass through circumstances, if we repent, God's grace will never forsake us. Be holy.
