"God is not unjust; he will not forget your work and the love you have shown him as you have helped his people and continue to help them."
— Hebrews 6:10
God is better than the bosses of our jobs. But he placed them as authority upon us to humble ourselves and lead us to love them. It's a big mistake for Christians to hate or depreciate their coworkers or bosses just because they are non converted. It's an opportunity for those people to meet God. Your kindness and servanthood heart can sometimes be the only connection that they have with Jesus living in you.
Colossians 3:23 "Whatever you do, work at it with all your heart, as working for the Lord, not for human masters, 24 since you know that you will receive an inheritance from the Lord as a reward. It is the Lord Christ you are serving."
This is why God is saying in Hebrews 6:10 that God is not unjust. The way you work for God is by serving others with your life, money, business, your kind behavior and with the fruit of the Spirit. God rewards those who work in his ministry when they do with love, but not with an interest to be blessed by the man of God. Beware that I'm a blessed man not a blesser. Love you.
